Horad was founded in 1981 by a German scientist to produce Environmental chambers & sun simulators for the photovoltaic module assembly line.

Horad evolved as a specialized PV module production line supplier since 2006 with all key equipment including automatic glass loading machine, EVA cutting and layup machine, automatic cell string layup machine, EL tester, buffer, Automatic trimming machine, automatic gluing and framing machine, automatic curing line, Hipot tester, automatic sorting machine, automatic packaging system, various conveyors etc. We provide customized shop floor planning and PV module production line layout to achieve the best cost performance ratio at minimum investment, according to customer's requirements.

2nd EVA/Backsheet Automatic Cutting & Layup Machine

  • The following parts are included: one set of EVA cutting machine, one set of backsheet cutting machine, one set of transferring and layup system
  • Able to stably suck and layup EVA supplied by main EVA manufacturers
  • Auto punching device for taking the contact terminal for junction box
  • Single operator for material loading, no additional parts needed

  • Anti-static function with ionizing air rod

Automatic String Layup System

Functions and Characteristics

  • Cantilever structure
  • Capable to be integrated with all stringers and conveyors in different configuration to finish the cell string layup upon the glass and EVA film automatically
  • Rotation angle driven by servo adjustable and settable to meet the accuracy of layup
  • Precise X, Y, Z three axis platform as well as 180° rotation table ensures high speed and high accuracy
  • One set layup system is corresponding to two sets stringers with speed of 2000pcs/hr, or Single Stringer of 3800 pieces/hr which leads to high production efficiency
  • Automatically receive, polarize, place and guide out modules with high positioning accuracy
  • A moveable handheld device is used for programming as well as operating
  • Standard configuration: Layup Unit + Auto Conveyor + Alignment
  • Four-axis mechanical movement patterns, rotation for 180°

EL Tester

Functions and Characteristics

  • Automatic inspection, single operator for multiple sets of EL testers
  • Adopting industrial CCD camera, automatic change-over of high-low current
  • Accurate inspection for module internal quality problem
  • Software automatically judges quality of module and operator can also make judgment
  • Effectively avoid problems of cell breakages, material defect, cracks and micro cracks, corner chip, broken finger, on soldering, etc

Automatic Trimming Machine

Functions and Characteristics

  • Automatic trimming machine with multiple knives
  • Suitable for different standard PV modules and double glass PV modules
  • Four-side feeding is controlled by servo motors, which lead to short cycle time, easy controlling and high trimming accuracy
  • The trimming force of knives is automatically adjusted by air cylinder
  • Collect the trimmed edge material automatically, which contributes to convenient operation & cleanliness on production floor
  • Service life of knife: ≥ 50000pcs PV modules

Fully Automatic 3 in 1 Framing Machine

Functions and Characteristics

  • Cantilever or gantry type structure
  • The following parts are included: gluing platform, frames transferring device, framing machine, frame storage box and security fence
  • Servo motor drive is adopted in gluing platform, with lead to high gluing accuracy
  • 3 in 1: Auto gluing, Auto frames placement and framing and Auto glue-squeeze. Capable for automatic gluing, frame placement and framing. Auto glue squeeze without rework
  • Modular vacuum suction in multiple position, precisely handling PV modules
  • Servo driving & ball screw, high accuracy, high stiffness, stable operation
  • Capable to grip 4pcs of frames with precise movement, fast changeover for different types of PV modules
  • Imported glue pump and glue gun with step less adjustable gluing amount
  • The control program of frame gluing system and framing system are integrated
