Sun Simulator

Shanghai Hi-Show Photovoltaic Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (HSPV) was founded in 2005. It is affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University Institute of Solar Energy. HSPV, the specialist in PV testing, began to conduct solar simulator research and development since 1997 and already got 9 national invention patents.

HSPV products have already passed the UL inspection in 2007 and acquired the CE certification in 2008. The solar simulator technical parameters have passed the AAA class determination of NIM, SIMT, FMI and Shanghai 811 research institute.

HSPV has developed a complete product system including minority carrier lifetime tester, solar cell tester/sorter, solar module tester, steady state solar simulator, PL Tester, IV+EL Module Tester, and light sophisticated equipment. HSPV Solar simulator can work for high efficiency cell, Multi-junction cell, Perovskite cell and Dye-sensitized solar cells.

Founder & Current CEO of HSPV is Dr. Lin Xu who is also Associate professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University who has been doing research on Solar testers for over 20 years since 1997. He is a famous face in the field of research on Solar testers & published many research papers.

Solar Cell Tester

The tester is used for testing I-V characteristics of solar cell. HSPV has designed short pulse tester and long pulse tester for solar cells of different conversion efficiency. The tester can be used for P-Type, N-Type, Thin- lm, PERC and HIT solar cell testing.

  • A special designed LC (Capacitance & Inductance) circuit power source guarantees the best spectrum matching grade and long pulse width.
  • The customized AM1.5 filter guarantees the spectrum up to Class A+A+A+ according to IEC.
  • The active linear continuum electric load and professional DAQ and control system guarantee the accuracy and stability.

Solar Simulator

The solar simulator is used for testing I-V characteristics of solar module. HSPV has designed short pulse and long pulse module tester to meet different testing requirement of different types of modules. The solar simulator can be used for testing P-Type, N-Type, Thin- lm, PERC & HIT solar cell and module made of highly transparent EVA.

  • Both manual guide rail and automatic guide rail are optional. The automatic guide rail is convenient to integrate with the assembly line.

Steady State Simulator

Steady state Simulators are designed to test the PV Arrays & PV modules for Hotspot & light soaking tests. These Simulators are designed as per IEC 60904 guidelines. Main features of the system are.
